Not much in the paper, opinion had a link to a syndicated piece about
Dr. Thomas Sowell and Dr. Henry Louis Gates Jr. over the race thing. Dr. Sowell is a brilliant man
who speaks and writes eloquently with facts and reason, the other dude not so much of either. Could have checked the Paragould paper but the crime over there usually gets
reported in the Jonestown outlets and it's not I need to go looking for crime. NEA used to be a nice place, Jonestown especially.
I'm relieved to see that the sordid facts about
great lectern coverup
scandal and massacree
will be revealed soon. I haven't been able to sleep some nights worrying about what the chronic malcontents will turn to once this matter is resolved.
I suppose we'll find out soon enough.
Both the local telly and paper reported on an
altercation at the Target store
in Jonesboro. No word on whether any of the LGBTQWERTY+ merchandise was damaged. All the reports were unsurprisingly similar as they consisted of police statements and the
Jonestown police are the same police no matter who is talking to them. Seems a couple of male juveniles reported being attacked by what turned out to be two more juveniles.
The perps being identified with the aid of surveillance video. Since the involved persons are juveniles guess what? No pics. But we did get this from the PD:
"At this time, there is no evidence to substantiate this is racially motivated or gang-related," the news release stated.
Okey-dokey. Why was there a need to say that? I did obtain the relevant facts from other sources. Fortunately we're not all dependent on
local "news" media for information but it would be nice if there was an independent forum where people were free from censorship by those who believe
they know what is best for us. Some people don't have the time or knowledge to know where to dig or the useful contacts some of us have. What say you?
