OK, one was Helena/West Helena and one in Blytheville. Jonestown paper usually gets around to putting them on the website eventually, along with the high school sports pics a week old. Editorials are usually sensible, just the occasional leftard but the toons are usually bashing Trump. They did get a Elon attack in a couple of days ago. Lefties seem to hate him almost as much as Trump. Funny thing is they cling to their Teslas while conservatives despise them. I personally wish Elon would dump Tesla and get on with saving the world, he could possibly have people living on Mars before he departs this world. Only problem is Tesla is the only even semi-viable electric car manufacturer and wouldn't last long without him or someone as sensible. Or he could start over and develop a practical fuel cell electric but that may require something in the fuel alternative that hasn't been discovered yet.

I see the former governor and senator will be on display before the funeral. I know it's something they do (usually for popes or presidents) but I always found it a little creepy. Probably when Bubba passes they'll display his corpse in DC. Wonder if they'll do Bumpers. Tucker is a convicted criminal and Huckabee is a Republican, sorta. May the current governor (Huck's daughter) will be so honored it the Republic is saved and sanity returns. I'd look for her to do two terms instead of one and then running for the Senate as Bumpers and Pryor did, and Tucker would have if he hadn't gotten caught. She might want to run for a Senate seat after being governor, which would be good. Or president.

At least someone in state government said something about it while admitting there is nothing they state can do about the feds coming into the state and killing citizens just because:

"We do not have the authority to address methods and tactics used or whether agency protocols and policies were followed," said ASP Colonel Mike Hagar. "Any administrative oversight of tactics would fall to that agency's - in this case, the U.S. Department of Justice's - internal review and is not part of the scope of what ASP is authorized to review."
So the feds will investigate themselves and find that there was no wrongdoing. Got it. The fact that this was not a marginal character like the fellow in Utah is a bit unnerving. It seems the government has literally as in the literal definition of literally [1] no fear of consequences. If Trump does return to the presidency maybe he will rethink his decision not to hold the previous regime accountable.

The governor commented on the visit of another dimwitted fed. Is there anyone in this clown show with an IQ above room temperature? I have yet to see one. Apparently he's coming to see if he can get some Arkansans to vote for Joetato because you know, like you won't have to pay your student loans. Waste of time but these people are desperate and not very bright, which is why they're desperate.

Just curious - from what I know about Hoxie - did these people travel from Jonesboro to Hoxie and apparently Pocahontas and Walnut Ridge for their crime spree? Too much competition in Jonesboro maybe?

[1] El Rushbo used to call it losing the language. It's been going on for a while and there seems a part of the general deterioration of society. From people who think 'the tarmac' is a place at airports to the talking heads and commercial narrators who sound like Moon in 'Valley Girl' only these are nominally adults, chronologically anyway.
