OK, seems the Jonestown shooting was self-defense. On to the one in Wynne. NEA Report has the names of the arrestees. Presumably there will be a trial at some future date or other.

A Blytheville school board member seems to have been involved in some unpleasantness. Blytheville wasn't just terrible when they had the Air Force base over there. Not great but not terrible. Probably a big economic hit when it closed. FedEx talked about buying it maybe to replace Memphis, which seemed like a good idea. Would have been good for Arkansas but for whatever reason it didn't happen.

Looks like the big lectern scandal may be about over. Presumably having read the gory details some of the lawmakers pontificated for a while and that seems to be about it. If anyone asked my opinion I'd say it's a little fancy, cost is probably about right for fancy but the government should set an example by exercising a little frugality. But no one asked me. Maybe the governor will have a word with the staff.

What else? Let's do the St. Francis County thing next. St. Francis County is in NEA, isn't it? Lessee. Sadly it is, along with Crittenden (West Memphis). I avoid that area, and the only thing Hughes reminds me of is a guy that got murdered over there. Nice fellow I worked with once, had a business over there, got killed one day by a local. The Wayne Dumond affair happened there in St. Francis County.

I have no idea what the connection to Jonestown or NEA generally this has. The alleged perp doesn't seem to be from around here... nevermind, he played at ASU, okey-dokey. The circumstances described did remind me the Rae Carruth case. No, not the Henry Ruggs III case although that did come to mind for some reason or other. Those two got off real easy, I wonder what will happen with this one. TANJ.

Then we got a lawsuit against video game manufacturers. I know a lot of people that have kids who aren't addicted to video games or anything else. Anyone want to know what the trick is?

Finally we have this. I understand AG Griffin is a good man and would want to get to the bottom of this. I just wish it were possible. Senator Cotton might have some ideas, just sayin'.
